COMING UP ROSY

To create your own pretty year-round door deco, start with a grapevine wreath and use florist wire to attach a mix of pink-dyed and natural bunny tail grass, everlasting or paper daisies, globe amaranth and dyed berries. You can find dyed grasses and dried flowers at craft stores or from online suppliers such as koch.com.au.

LET IT BE

With certain types of botanicals, you can let nature take its course. Flowers with sturdy stems, such as oakleaf hydrangeas and globe thistle (Echinops ritro), can be left in an empty vase to dry naturally, then arranged. Too easy! You can fill out the arrangement with the pink-purple ruffles of ornamental oregano (just hang upside down to dry) and dried coastal banksia (Banksia integrifolia) leaves.
