1 COLOUR SCHEME

The perfect marriage of colour and prints can transform the living space into a happy work of art. And being an ardent fan of all things colour, the cinema room in this Belgravia Townhouse celebrates just that. Interiors designer Maurizio Pellizzoni recommends using a mix of prints and patterns on the occasional chair to create an accent piece.

2 NOSTALGIA

A home is a reflection of memories. It’s a pause that holds the power to cocoon you. Inspired by the Hamptons, this space evokes a connection of Summer: Rich with joyful memories spent at the beach. The timeless nautical colour scheme has a relaxing and peaceful feel. And the effortless mix of smart tailoring, cool blue with neutral tones, and natural materials, capture that vibe.

Summer is the happiest time for the designer. He says, “The natural palette of this open-plan space complements the view of the outdoors. The open French doors bring the inside out and captures the essence of Summer.” What’s your favourite season?

1 VINTAGE TOUCH

When contemplating on how this room should feel, Lucinda reminiscences, “I knew it had to be around the joy of grandma’s candy dish on the mantle. I wanted to create an inviting and welcoming space with a sense of history becoming of this 140-year-old home.” She adds, “Mixing various colours throughout the home created a warm vibe.” The design approach worked around a language of timelessness.
