HOW WELL DOES THE DYSON STAND UP IN THE HOME OF A FREQUENT AND UNABASHEDLY EXPERIMENTAL COOK? OUR EDITOR EMMELYN FINDS OUT!
It’s strange, and I’ll be the first to admit it, but air quality was not one of my top concerns growing up. We suffered through years of uncomfortable sinuses and red-nose-mornings without a single thought as to why that was. And when I eventually moved into a home of my own and settled into my own state of pedantic cleanliness – much to the chagrin of my long-suffering mother, who would likely have appreciated that when I was a teen – it became more and more evident that air quality was of utmost importance.
Air fresheners, scented candles, fragrance diffusers, and room sprays soon became a thing in my adult home. Delightful though they were to building a personalised space, however, none of these were the answer to the question of the ages: is this air actually good to breathe, and will my open-concept kitchen-cum-living space ever stop smelling like chilli stir fry?
