Jolindi van der Merwe knows a thing or two about decorating, yet this graphic designer was unsure as to whether she should enter her and her hubby Beyers’ house in our Rookie Stylist competition, presented in partnership with Mr Price Home.
However, her sisters-in-law and two close friends wouldn’t take no for an answer and continued to encourage her to enter. But even after taking pictures of her home, Jolindi still wasn’t convinced. About 15 minutes prior to entries closing, she took a leap of faith and sent her photos. And what a worthy winner! There’s so much more than just one stylish ‘nook’ in the Van der Merwes’ house – almost every room is a showstopper!
