KITCHEN ISLAND: The kitchen island has proven its popularity and versatility for a number of years now and continues to be one of the most coveted additions within kitchen designs. Offering a sociable place to sit and gather around as well as a practical place for food prep and storage, an island cements the connection between the dining and living needs of modern day kitchens. An island can be designed in so many shapes, sizes and configurations, so it's definitely worth exploring how one might fit within your design.
BOILING WATER TAP: In this kitchen design by Timbercraft, one of homeowner Rosario's favourite features is her Quooker Fusion square hot water tap with Cube chilling system. We speak to a number of homeowners and even if they didn't know they needed one, after time spent using their new hot water tap they never regret the decision to install it. They are so efficient for making a quick cup of coffee to all of your cooking needs. Plus while shown here in a chrome finish they come in a range of finishes including bronze and matt black.
PANTRY: The owner of this kitchen had a pantry with concealed doors on their wish list and Michelle Bryans from Mountfield Kitchens was able to incorporate this into the overall design. Once these doors are closed, no one would suspect that a large walk-in pantry was hidden behind what looks like regular kitchen cupboards.
