The wall paint was colour matched to the kitchen cabinets by Valspar for a cohesive feel while shelves instead of wall cabinets open up the space further. ‘They look more modern and work better with the sloping ceiling,’ explains Louise. ‘I used to read interior magazines at my brother’s house when I was younger and they always had a lady standing in front of a Belfast sink, so I always wanted one in my kitchen.’
