FROM VERY HUMBLE BEGINNINGS - a garden shed in East London - one of the world's most beloved bathroomware brands was born. It was the late 1970s and friends Bob Perrin and Greg Rowe shared a fascination with traditional manufacturing methods. The pair had gained a reputation as 'go to' guys for anyone who needed an engineering problem sorted out and decided to go into business together - and so Perrin & Rowe was born.
In between taking on projects for other companies, the men worked on their own ventures. The idea that would see them go on to develop an international reputation was their invention of a three-in-one tap (that dispensed hot, cold and filtered water) - it was a world first.
