WELCOME WAVES

Life feels it’s getting back to our more usual routines, living on our narrowboat. An average week would generally involve some cruising and filming for my YouTube channel.

We also cruise in order to fill up on water, get rid of our bins and get close to a shop so we can stock up on food. I would also have time allocated to complete my schoolwork and editing my videos. The rest of the time is taken up with chores and chatting to my friends and playing the occasional computer when the internet signal is strong enough.

Some of the activities in our routine have to be done. We have to move for water and we need to get to the shops if we are running low on food. Most of the planning is done by my Mum and it takes her more time if we are on a new canal.

She has to check where the water points are and where we can get to shops, either on foot or by bus. We are now back on canals that we are more familiar with and it really helps, as we can remember the good places to moor and where all the local facilities are.
