LONDON SOUTHEND AIRPORT DONATES CARE PACKAGES TO NHS

With NHS workers struggling to support COVID-19 patients and people in need of medical assistance, London Southend Airport (LSA) is offering care packages to these key staff, many of whom are unable to get to a supermarket or find items to get by. Staff at LSA have gathered essential items to give to NHS workers at Southend and Basildon hospitals as well as the ambulance base on Aviation Way.

Glyn Jones, CEO at London Southend Airport, said: ‘We have 75 care packages which will be delivered over the next few days to help as many NHS staff as possible. It is a time to pull together and support key workers on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19. I am proud that the airport is able to play a small role in providing that support.’
