Most of these young entrepreneurs have decided to take that leap of faith thanks to the apps and technology that are available in the market. We got a chance to speak to Foong Yuh Wen, the co-founder of SushiVid and Susian Yeap, the co-founder of Supahands, who reveal how they made their dream come true.

“SushiVid is a company that helps brands to find, hire and work with social media influencers through our online portal. I started this company two and half years ago after giving up my full-time job of three years in Singapore. To be honest, I didn’t think I was ready to start something on my own but I wanted to challenge myself and told myself to ‘do it first and die later’. I had a very low self-esteem and when I started my career as an equity research analyst back in 2008, I couldn’t adjust into the rhythm.
