Bentley Bentayga is the world’s most extravagant suv.

Article Reader

THE BENTLEY BENTAYGA is the first of its kind in the world— an SUV that combines the best of luxury and performance. Its luxury features are all one expects from the Bentley brand, while in performance, it boasts being the fastest and the most powerful SUV currently in production. It is able to sprint from a dead stop to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, for a car weighing almost 2.5 tonnes, it’s half a second faster than a base model Porsche 911.

It is able to pull off this feat thanks to a six liter W12 engine enhanced with twin turbos that generates a peak power of 600 horsepower and a whooping pulling power of 900Nm starting from a mere 1,350 rpm. With the car, the brand pioneered into a whole new automotive segment, a move that will be followed by the likes of Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini in the near future.

Forbes Life Indonesia was one of just two media from Indonesia that got the chance to test drive the Bentayga in the Pit area of the Singapore F1 circuit last May. The pit area and a fraction of the circuit were converted into a short test track for acceleration and braking, a slalom run, and medium speed cornering.
