One of the pillars of the “What’s Your Code” philosophy is going hard. And that will always hold true. It’s how all the greats become great; there’s no getting around that. But how often do we focus on the little things that allow us to go hard? This month, as we go through an incredibly trying time, I want to focus on a few aspects of getting our mind, body and soul to fire the right way.
A lot of people take breathing for granted. It’s such an obvious and regular part of our lives that we don’t give it much importance. But there are a ton of advantages to breathing correctly, including a boost in your daily output; and disadvantages if you don’t. By working on your breathing you can reduce depression, address your body’s pain and stress levels; lower your blood pressure, heart rate and overall anxiety levels. These are factors that affect each one of us in some way, especially considering what we’ve all been through over the last year. And we’re not out of the woods yet.
