Are you on board with the latest in skin and body care treatment and technology?
How do you take care of your body? A kale smoothie a day? Gone vegan? Clocked in hundred miles at your spinning class? There’s all that and so much more. Walking into your dermatologist’s clinic is like wandering into a Wonderland, peopled with zit zapping lasers and fat freezing vats. We found a whole gamut of procedures, each sounding more magical and unreal than the other. Pico lasers that deliver the highest amount of energy in a picosecond, to treat pigmentation disorders; or UltraMR, a combination of radiofrequency and cannula incision-based breaking up of fibrous bands under the skin – it treats cellulite. Don’t believe us? Wait till you hear the rest from our expert panel of dermatologists and cosmetologists.

VACUUM EXTRACTION
The use of vacuum assisted water microbrasion to cleanse out pores of blackheads and dirt.
GRAZIA: How does this work?
Dr LOHIA: It’s extraordinarily gentle. It first delivers water and actives to the skin and then uses gentle suction to vacuum it all up again. The water and actives solubilise the dirt, oil and junk in the pores so that the vacuum can extract it all. No skin breakage as it works only within the pore. No pain, no discomfort. Only cleaned out pores.
G: Is there a healing process?
Dr L: None at all. It literally focuses within the pore to clean out the dirt, pollution and excess oil, and with the actives in the water, it also heals the skin naturally. No downtime required.
G: How often can it be done?
Dr L: We suggest once every 2-4 weeks depending on how quickly your blackheads get clogged.
