Irie Ahmad, Co-Founder, Mod‘n’Go Design.
We caught up with Irie Ahmad, co-founder of Mod‘n’Go Design during an ASUS event to learn more about his love for DIY watercooling PCs and its community.
Watercooling is a relatively niche market. What made you decide to get into the whole DIY case modding scene?
It was actually a good friend of mine who gave me the idea of becoming a PC modder. It is all thanks to Nizam (a.k.a. Katik) and his guidance in PC modding that I got to where I am today. Not to forget a few renowned local modders and watercooling gurus like Mr. Ian Ho, the late Najib Faisol, Joe and Amirul Hafiz – all of whom have constantly proved why I shouldn’t quit this hobby. Truth be told, they are the reason why I ventured into the PC modding and watercooling scene.
From an owner and PC enthusiast’s viewpoint, could you describe some of the benefits of watercooling?
