These are good times to be shopping for high-end headphones. Rosson Audio Design might not be at the tip of everybody’s tongue when thinking about cans manufacturers, but founder Alex Rosson has a CV that assuages a lot of concerns. A co-founder of Audeze, he has been involved with a number of significant audio products since leaving the company in 2015 to go his own way.
And his ‘own way’ has led to the RAD-0, an open-back planar magnetic headphone with a differences. Great effort has gone into reducing the all-up weight of the RAD-0 and this is complemented by excellent weight distribution across the head.
