JAGUAR I-PACE
(Rs 1 crore and above) Range: 470 km
Priced around the Rs 1.20 crore mark, Jaguar says that the all-electric vehicle can run 470km on a single charge while producing 400PS and 696Nm of peak torque on tap. Charging time here has been reduced to just 15 minutes for a range of 127km. However, in case you do need to top up entirely, the I-Pace can be juiced up to 100 per cent in just 55 minutes.
MERCEDES-BENZ AMG EQS-53
(Rs 2 crore and above) Range: 529-586 km
The new all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQS 53 provides a range of 529586 km per charge according to the company. Its 107.8kWh battery pack powers two electric motors to produce 658PS of power and 950 Nm torque, helping it sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.8 seconds, and a top speed of 220kmph. Designed in the same silhouette as its S-Class sibling, the AMG EQS 53 couldn't look any more different, largely because of the re-designed front bumper, which includes a new grille, and the sloping roofline, giving it a coupe-like look. The party piece is the MUBX 56-inch hyper screen, which comprises three displays covered by a sheet of glass on the dashboard. Priced at Rs 2.45 crore (all prices, ex-showroom).
