Paul's calls

Turkey calling is an essential skill that separates beginners from seasoned hunters. But even experienced hunters and outdoorsmen have trouble consistently calling a wild turkey. Albert Paul guesses the reason most hunters have problems is that they are using an inferior turkey call.

“It’s not like deer hunting,” he explains. “Because after you find the turkey, then you have to call it to you. And if you don’t have a good instrument, then you’re just wasting time.”

Paul, regarded as one of the premier turkey call makers in the world, knows of what he speaks. Along with his wife Faye, he has been operating Paul’s Calls since 1992, and hunters and collectors cherish their handcrafted box calls throughout the world both for their appearance and pitch-perfect quality.
