Just steps from downtown Jackson sits a vibrant neighborhood, rich in history. With lovely homes full of character, beautifully worn sidewalks, and lush parks, Belhaven residents have remained deeply devoted to their community for over a century.

At the end of every summer, thousands of people gather for the annual Bright Lights Belhaven Nights, a fun, family-friendly street fair. “Bright Lights Belhaven Nights is an amazing celebration of Belhaven that showcases our beloved neighborhood and creates even more excitement for her promising future,” smiles resident Caroline Hogan. “We love Belhaven. It is such a wonderful place to raise a family.”

Bright Lights Belhaven Nights is the Greater Belhaven Foundation’s largest fundraiser. The nonprofit corporation, formed in 2001, maintains a healthy relationship between Belhaven and the city of Jackson. The Greater Belhaven Foundation has a positive impact on the neighborhood through historic preservation, economic restructuring, green spaces, and safety.
