Fitbit, now under Google ownership, has been promising a range of updated features for the Charge 5 activity and health tracker, which now has a range of features to rival smartwatches, plus the constantly evolving Fitbit app is now better than ever.

With the Charge 5 Fitbit has introduced a new design that is both slightly slimmer and smaller than it's Charge 4 predecessor, and uses a new locking mechanism for its straps, so you can't recycle your favourite Charge 4 bands. Compared to Fitbits Versa 3 and Sense smartwatches, this activity band lacks a few features, such as music storage and voice assistance, but it does include a number of new tracking features alongside GPS tracking and a long battery life.
