Chromebooks have been around for a decade, but outside of educational use, most of us barely consider them as PC notebooks. Like many things, the era of COVID-19 has changed our perceptions, especially if you have three schooling kids at home all squabbling for your work notebook to use for their home-based learning, and the simpler, more affordable Chromebook has made a big return, especially as there’s still a global shortage of computer chips, primarily high-end commercial CPUs and GPUs.
