Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean is a destination with a big personality and many reasons to visit. There’s never a dull moment in paradise. Grenada belongs to the Windward Islands in the Caribbean and lies southwest of Barbados. It’s a tri-island state of the mainland Grenada, with twin islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique in the Grenadines to the north.
Pure Grenada is untouched, unspoilt, and an authentic Caribbean destination where you are Free to Wonder with the warm and friendly people. As a visitor, you can connect with locals and observe the daily comings and goings of the Grenadians who will always greet you with a “good day” and a smile.
Due to the size of the island, which is 135 square miles, you can get from one of the 40 white sandy beaches to the rainforest interior within minutes. Whether you want to relax on the famous Grand Anse Beach with a colourful Spice and Craft Vendor’s market at your doorstep or hike to the more than 15 waterfalls throughout the country, it’s your choice.
There is something for everyone in Grenada, which is known for its spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Fast becoming known as the Chocolate Island, thanks to the amazing cocoa that grows everywhere, Grenada’s chocolate is also a divine treat. The island now has four chocolate factories that you can tour as you learn about the tree to bar process of chocolate making with a little spice added to the mix.
