Actress and entrepreneur Ayesha Kapur is all of 24 but has achieved success in films and is the power behind Ayesha Accessories. With a recently launched blog, she aims to write about things that matter to her – fashion, lifestyle and more. She speaks about being an achiever.
Some names linger in your memory even if they prefer to stay low key. You cheer for them. You want to know more about them. Their work (however big or small) speaks volumes. And that is no small feat. The Indian film industry is filled with such powerhouse of talent. If you remember Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s touching classic Black, you would remember this sensitive film. And most of you would also recall the heart-rending portrayal of Ayesha Kapur who played Rani Mukherji’s character’s younger version in the film. She probably made a mark as big as Amitabh Bachchan and Rani in the film.
Though she appeared in another film Sikandar in which she made an impact as a Kashmiri girl with a conscience, Ayesha is probably also known as the co-owner of Ayesha Accessories, which she started at a young age with her mother. The popular brand has been creating waves with unique accessories. And now the 24-year-old actress-entrepreneur is making a name with her blog in which she talks about fashion, lifestyle, travel, beauty, health and all things that matter to her. www.ayeshakapur. com is the outcome of her creative spirit. And she wants to connect with more like minded people with it.
We have seen her work hard with her accessories company. So one supposes that coming up with this blog was a natural progression. But it seemed like a long wait. Ayesha reveals, “The blog, just like Ayesha Accessories, is a space where I can be express myself creatively. I have always enjoyed writing, and have experience working in front of the camera. Learning to use a camera has been a new and exciting learning experience, and I think I have found another passion. The reason I have waited is because, to be honest, I have never been that into the social media scene till recently.”
