The latest special Stardust Magazine initiative&mdash;Success Saga-Shiva unravels the life story of a hairstylist par excellence&mdash;Shivarama Bhandary aka Shiva. This leading Mumbai based professional hairdresser has made a mark for himself with his signature chain Salon and Spa.To celebrate his success story, Stardust did a special issue on Shiva&rsquo;s life and career spanning around three decades. The issue was unveiled with much fanfare at his Walkeshwar salon in the presence of various B-Town celebrities. Touted as Bollywood&rsquo;s favourite hairstylist, there was filmmaker and Shiva&rsquo;s close friend Madhur Bhandarkar and actress Mugdha Godse in attendance along with Nari Hira (Chairman, Magna Publishing Co Ltd), Sumita Chakraborty (Editor, Stardust), Mahesh Shetty, Satish Shetty and Yogesh Lakhani among other eminent personalities. The emcee for the event was Sharbani Mukherjee.&ldquo;I think it has been a great journey for Shiva and he has paced ahead by leaps and bounds to be in this position. He struggled a lot as he came from a very humble background and today, this is his 16th salon in South Mumbai, which is a great achievement. Aur main hamesha encourage karta hu, filmon main kaam bhi karata hu kabhi kabhi,&rdquo; Madhur spoke proudly about his friend. With around 300 professionals working with him currently, Shiva is now aiming for the 30th salon mark.Elated with being on the Stardust cover, the stylist said, &ldquo;I feel very happy. Stardust has given me a platform and captured my success saga, I feel honoured. Madhurji keeps on motivating me and he is really connected to me. And the association with Mugdhaji has also been strong.&rdquo;This was an evening of success stories over some refreshing mocktails accompanied by finger-licking good food.
