Singing and music definitely flows in her blood. Daughter of T-Series founder, late Gulshan Kumar, Tulsi Kumar is carrying ahead her father’s music legacy. Born in New Delhi, the 28-year-old has studied Economics and Psychology in college, is a big foodie, who loves exploring cuisines, likes travelling to exotic places, is stylish, and above all has a great passion for music. From bhajans, remixes, soft romantic to peppy dance numbers, her musical journey has magically enabled her to experience every bit of the singing industry.

“Always a dream that I had to achieve. Ever since I was a child, I had a strong bent towards music. I used to continuously hum songs while watching TV. My father spotted this inherent talent in me and while I was just about six years old, he got me admitted to Suresh Wadkarji’s academy.After learning light classical music for a few years from him, I continued polishing my skill under Pt Vinod Mishraji. My father bought me a harmonium and piano when I was young, and because the atmosphere in the house was supportive of music, I could easily fit into it. I started singing bhajans and doing remixes and later graduated to playback singing.”
