Source of inspiration
My interest in the creative field started way back when as kid, I was actively involved in dance, acting and theatre. We had to do our own make-up and hair for the performances, and I developed a knack for the art. After finishing school, I wanted to study makeup, but was forced to take up computer and hotel management courses, as it was not an ‘acceptable’ profession. It took me time to convince my family and make them believe in me and my passion. Later, I enrolled into a hair and make-up course with Samantha Kochchar, and the rest is history.
MentorMy mentor and guru, Samantha Kochchar has played an important role in my career. I learnt all the tricks of the trade and honed my skills under her guidance. Kochchar has put in a lot of effort to train me. She highlighted my strengths and worked on my weaknesses. She further suggested I do a course in hair and pursue advance level make-up course so that I could carve my own niche.
