DJI ACTION 2
T3 Magazine|December 2021
Whereas the familiar frame of the original DJI Osmo Action made it look for all the world like a GoPro clone, this sequel – which, like the company’s latest gimbal, entirely drops the Osmo name – goes in a different direction.
DJI ACTION 2

For a start, it’s really, really small. It’s easily expandable with extra batteries, additional screens, and more. It’s mountable just about anywhere using magnets, including onto your own clothing, and (at least in its base combo) the Action 2 is far cheaper than a Hero 10 Max. That said, it doesn’t quite have the same imaging grunt as GoPro’s big boy. The Action 2 tops out at 4K 120fps, and its stabilising functions don’t work at higher resolutions or frame rates, though its 180-degree tilt correction does beat GoPro’s measly 45.

T3 SAYS: An action cam for those who really need a small one.
