BASIC HALOUMI
PREP + COOK TIME 10 MINUTES SERVES 4
850g vegetarian haloumi cooking−oil spray
1 medium lemon (140g), cut into wedges
1 Cut the block of haloumi in half crossways. Cut each piece in half diagonally to form four triangle-shaped pieces.
2 One at a time cut each piece into four thin triangular pieces. You will have 16 haloumi triangles in total.
3 Line a large frying pan with baking paper (see notes); spray lightly with oil. Place pan over high heat. When the pan is hot, cook half the haloumi triangles for 1 minute each side or until golden. Remove from pan; keep warm.
