And in the kingdom that is India’s leading sport talent management agency, that’s precisely who Jogesh is.
Cornerstone handles everything brand related for sportspersons, including endorsements and sponsorships, business associations, personal brands, social media and digital solutions, animation and gaming, and licensing and merchandising. Born and bred in Mumbai, Jogesh cofounded the firm with partner and CEO Bunty Sajdeh, to combine his immense love for sport and passion for technology.
Now the COO of Cornerstone, Jogesh heads the licensing and digital content verticals in the company. Over the last few years, he’s been responsible for some path breaking projects like WROGN clothing, Muve Acoustics and One8 with Puma for Virat Kohli, Gully clothing for KL Rahul, and the Hyper Tygers comic series for Rohit Sharma. The company also represents footballer Sunil Chhetri, basketball player Satnam Singh Bhamara, racecar driver Jehan Daruvala, hockey player Rupinder Pal Singh, and swimmer Shivani Kataria.
While growing up, Jogesh nursed silent ambitions of being a fire engine driver and a railway motorman. He never considered himself a good student, but always just managed to get by, year after year. When the time came to pick a more serious field to complete his studies, he chose to mirror his father’s choices and ended up going to Purdue University to study Industrial Engineering.
