AT JUST URBANE, A ROAD trip to a five-starrer or a seven-starrer has become a norm now. And last month wasn’t different. We were asked to review grandiose accommodations and services at The Leela Goa for this issue and we couldn’t find a better car to travel to the southern part of Goa than the X3. Why? You see the X3 is an SUV that shelters practicality and comfort under the same roof, which makes it an everyday car for sure. And that was one the main reasons as to why our lensmen also plumped for the X3. On the other hand, we were going to a part of Goa that is exactly opposite to the north. Meaning? The more you traverse towards the southern parts, the more you meet a set of undisturbed and finest stretches of beaches of this Utopia. Apart from frequent Dolphin sightings up the Arabian sea that add up to the unmatched serene beauty of Goa, the black lava rocks, the paddy fields and the panorama of the River Sal do not hesitate to take your breath away. And once you reach the destination, the line of luxurious spa hotels not only help you paint a picture of R&R, but also dress themselves as a reason for blissful escapism. And that’s why, as much as it is being favoured by the locals, this slice of Goa is also a pick of the celebrities, like Paul McCartney no less. By the way, don’t you think we’re going off topic a bit here? Fret not, ‘cause we ain’t, since the BMW X3 and Goa are no different. And now that we’ve known a bit about Goa, allow me to talk more about the X3.
