The crazed fan who invaded Sandra Bullock’s home two years ago may be freed on a technicality. Now the star fears he’ll come after her again.
IT could have been an edge-of-your seat thriller, except it was all too real. On the night of June 8, 2014, Sandra Bullock was awakened by a loud noise inside her Los Angeles home. Peeking out of her bedroom, she beheld a black-clad intruder sneaking down the hallway. She slammed the door, locked herself in a closet and desperately called 911. Fortunately, deranged fan Joshua James Corbett was caught on the premises, arrested and subsequently faced 26 separate charges.
Sandra, 52, thought her stalker would be put away for a very long time. But due to police fumbling, Corbett, in jail since his arrest, could be released much sooner than expected, shattering Sandra’s faith that she and her children, Louis, 6, and Laila, 4, could live without fear. “Sandy is petrified that he’ll be turned loose and stalk her again,” a source close to the actress says.
