BRYAN ADAMS IS HERE, ARMED WITH SUMMER OF69, AND SUNDRY OTHER BALLADS
Back in the 1990s, Bryan Adams serenaded a generation hitting their teens with those first crucial songs on love, heartache and apology. For many, he was the gateway to other golden oldies like Elton John, Pearl Jam, Paul Simon and Pink Floyd. Today, he can still melt your cold, cold heart with his gravelly (Everything I Do) I Do It For You. The 58-year-old Canadian singer, also a photographer, philanthropist and staunch vegan, is making his fifth visit to India, and will be performing in five cities from October 9 to 14. Here to promote Ultimate, his 21-song compilation album, Adams talked to us about socially conscious music, his love for what he does, and why he will never tire of Summer of ‘69.
If there is one international rockstar most Indians know, it is Bryan Adams. How does that make you feel?
Truly humbled. Indians have a lot of love to give, and I am always grateful for all the appreciation. India never disappoints.
