CHELTENHAM Town defender Charlie Raglan admits the jury’s out on boss Michael Duff’s dance moves – but reckons he’s hot-footing it to the top as a manager.
Duff dusted off the celebratory antics he first displayed in his Burnley playing days after the Robins clinched promotion to League One in midweek with a 1-1 home draw against Carlisle.
“He seemed to think we didn’t know about it,” Raglan told The FLP, “but the lads were calling for it.
“To be fair, it looked like he was enjoying himself – it was an interesting set of moves!”
While the dance quickly went viral, it doesn’t appear as though Cheltenham need to worry about Duff, who helped the Robins win promotion into the Football League as a player, swapping the dugout for the stage.
And centre-back Raglan reckons the 43-year-old former Northern Ireland international, who took charge in September 2018 after coaching Burnley’s academy sides, has all the credentials to keep on climbing the ladder as a manager.
