The Act of the National Authority on Tobacco & Alcohol (NATA) 27 of 2006, Clause No. 38.2 states that: “A person shall not manufacture or import for sale, or distribute free of charge, any article which is not a tobacco product having the appearance of a tobacco product.” Therefore, manufacturing of cinnamon cigarettes and launching of such product is a violation of the Act.
