GARY Lineker was accused of plugging his Walkers crisps sponsorship deal before a match shown on primetime BBC.
But despite the Beeb being aware of the incident they will not be probing the star for breaching impartiality rules.
The ex-England player appeared to display a packet of crisps on the desk in a photo tweeted before the FA Cup clash between Arsenal and Newcastle.
It seemed to be against the BBC’s strict impartiality and advertising rules.
As well as his Match Of The Day hosting role, Lineker has been partnered with Walkers since 1995.
