A YOUNG woman who has beaten cancer is sharing her story in support of Love Island star Demi Jones.
Molly Childs, 26, was terrified after being diagnosed with follicular thyroid cancer two years ago.
She underwent surgery to have her thyroid removed last year.
After hearing Demi – a contestant on the ITV2 show last year – reveal her diagnosis recently, she wants to reassure women that it is not a death sentence.
Molly said: “Being told you have cancer in your 20s is not part of your life plan.
“I just feel sad for her – it’s such a rubbish thing to go through.
