Dan’s delight after magic hat-trick for Baloucoune

DAN McFARLAND was delighted with Ulster’s performance in France but warned his players they must improve for the return leg in Belfast next week.

The URC side ran in four tries to two in the round of-16 first-leg tie in front of a packed house at Stadium de Toulouse, with winger Robert Baloucoune running in a hattrick. But the URC side were forced to deal with an unlikely late onslaught after Romain Ntamack’s 78th-minute score for the reigning European champions.
