PAL Flies 290 Stranded British Nationals To London

PAL mounts special flight to UK – PR 720, using Philippine Airlines 370-seater Boeing 777-300 left Manila, for London on April 7, 2020 carrying 290 stranded British nationals from various parts of the country. They were earlier ferried by PAL sweeper flights from Cebu, Bohol, Palawan and Siargao to Manjila. Pilot-in-command is B777 Capt. Gideon Paul Richard Ortega with First Officer Romulo Lazo III, and Second Officer Andrew Alexis Abu. Purser Chona Tuason leads the Cabin Crew Roster. B777 Capt. Robert Anthony Serrano isl be pilot-in-command assisted by First Officer Michael Silva Regalado, Second Officers Joselito Lerma and Julius Vincent Barraquias. Purser Rowena Fucoy heads the cabin crew.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) did another flight of mercy this Tuesday, transporting 290 stranded British nationals to London from Manila via special flight PR720.

The flight, which the British Embassy in Manila arranged, used PAL's 370-seater Boeing 777 which took off at 12:52 p.m., April 7, from Manila's NAIA Terminal 2.

For the return flight, PR721 will bring in stranded OFWs from London arranged in coordination with the Philippine Embassy.
