South Demands Halt To Kim Jong-un's Strongman Show Amid Covid-19 Crisis

South Korea reacted with anger last night after North Korean despot Kim Jong-un responded to the coronavirus crisis by having missiles fired into the sea.

The short-range rockets flew about 225 miles from Pyongan province before falling into the Sea of Japan.

Communist dictator Kim ordered the launch as a new show of strength amid the pandemic, which is crippling countries around the world.

South Korea’s military chiefs said: “Such action is highly inappropriate at a time when Covid-19 is causing difficulties worldwide.”

The country’s joint chief of staff yesterday said it was monitoring the situation.

Japan said the projectiles did not reach Japanese territory or its exclusive economic zone.
