Victims' fury as serial sex attack thug bids for freedom

Victims of a serial rapist jailed for a horrific catalogue of abuse have told of their disgust after he launched a bid for freedom.

Paul Hill, 55, was convicted of raping four women and carrying out a string of assaults in Aberdeen and Dundee over a 22-year period.

The former bouncer, from Ayr, also killed the pets of three of his victims. Last month he was jailed for 15 years.

Now two of his victims have spoken out after Hill lodged an appeal against his conviction and sentence.

One woman – Hill was convicted of abducting, assaulting, and raping between January 1987 and May 1988 – said: “I heard about the appeal and was really upset about it.

“I went to court to tell the truth about what he did to me.
