Charles: Get Out In The Open Heir

Prince Charles has created a series of fun challenges for children to try on their half-term break.

The lifelong environmentalist wants them to “take a really close look at the wonderful things nature is now doing”.

The challenges, launched on his Clarence House Instagram page, range from planting a seed in an old egg box to drawing elephants using leaves.

Charles tells children: “It has been an incredibly hard year which has meant we have had to stay very close to home. I am sure you feel as frustrated as I do about not being able to get outside as much as you’d like.”

All challenges can be carried out locally, with no road or rail travel needed. Participants will be encouraged to follow #POWNature Challenge on the Instagram page and share their creations through photos or short films for a highlights gallery.
