Investigators said the probe will now focus on tracking down a person, who, as per Goswami’s allegations, works for Rakesh and had slipped out moments before the police raid after planting the 90 grams of cocaine in her car on February 20. Police sources indicated this person, suspected to be on the run, is now in a Bihar hideout. Two persons believed to be linked to the case are also likely to testify before a judicial magistrate on Friday. An Alipore court on Thursday extended the police remand of Goswami, Dey and her personal guard till March 4.
