The editing stage of image-making is just as important as shooting but, naturally, most of us prefer being out and about shooting images. Lightroom presets are the perfect way to speed up your workflow.

Commonly used settings can be applied at the point at which you import your images into Lightroom, while a range of other special effects can also be applied at the touch of a button, saving you valuable editing time.

1 Process the image

Apply any basic RAW processing required to your image before applying the special effect that will be saved as a preset. Alternatively, you can save any (or all) of the basic adjustments you apply to most images as a preset instead of a special effect to save editing time in the future.
