Who can ever understand you better than your mother?
While going through the roller coaster of life, we may encounter challenging situations where we just cannot find a solution, let alone think of one. Strangely enough, some occasions are such that identifying the problem itself seems Utopian!
I found myself there very often, especially during the early years of motherhood. I was a young mother who had it all. My lovely baby was not just a delight and solace but an inspiration to keep me on the move, willingly and happily. Our little one, who almost always seemed so happy and contented, was the greatest spark in our lives.
I was glued to the little enchantress, oblivious to the existence of anything else, inanimate or animate, including myself. It's like I had no connection with the outside world because I didn't need one. This tiny bundle of joy and my doting husband meant the world to me. I had left my job and was busy making my home into a heaven.
Time proceeded at lightning speed and it still seemed like bliss. It was a delight to watch my toddler growing up. Her occasional naughtiness, her unique ways of keeping herself busy with little nothings which probably were very significant to her and, most importantly, her ways of conveying her love for me without even saying a word kept me elated. She made me feel so indispensable!
