The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been the underdogs of the IPL. They are not starstudded like some of the other fancied teams, but somehow make an impact every season. Under David Warner, the team bonds extremely well and with their limited resources even went on to win the crown in 2016.
SRH will certainly be one of the contenders of the IPL title this season and have assembled a solid team for it. Let us have a look at some of the big guns for Hyderabad this year.
DAVID WARNER
He has been captain extraordinaire for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and has almost single-handedly led their resurgence these last few seasons. Ever since he was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014, Australian David Warner has been absolutely sensational with the bat for them and is the glue that holds the team together. From 2014 onwards, Warner has scored 528, 562, 848 and 641 runs respectively each season for SRH. He thrives on the Indian pitches and leads from the front. Warner knows how to build a T20 inning and understands his team’s weaknesses perfectly. He has been one of the best captains of the IPL and his recent form suggests that David Warner will once again be a force to reckon with the upcoming season.
