High Hopes For The Boyhood Blue

After joining Everton Academy at the age of six, Kyle John signed his first professional contract with the Club in March. The Chester-born full-back has since been labelled a ‘class act’ by Under-23s manager David Unsworth, with the 18-year-old eager to continue catching the eye with his beloved Blues.

It’s been a memorable few months for you, Kyle. How much of a boost was it to receive praise from your Under-23s manager David Unsworth? It’s always nice to hear such big names, legends of the Club, say something so good about you. It gives you a massive confidence boost. To go on and receive such praise means a lot and all the more when it’s your manager. Unsy is great with us, he inspires you to give your best and his words made me feel like a new person.
