CASANOVA HAS ASCOT IN SIGHTS

HERE at Newmarket we missed a lot of the recent snow but had really heavy frosty nights. As you can see from my photo the horses and riders were out in it early in the mornings. What a brilliant job the Heathmen did keeping the canters and walkways clear, it was an heroic effort from Colin Driver and his team on Bury side.

IT was sad to hear Robert Armstrong had died recently at the age of 77. He took over at St Gatien from his father Sam and was a very good trainer himself. NEVER SO BOLD and MOORESTYLE readily come to mind as outstanding performers of his.
