When it comes to smartwatches, these are the two devices that most people end up comparing— the best of Apple against arguably the best of android. But which of the two works best for you? We put the Apple Watch in the ring against the new Moto 360 to find out.
Smartwatches might not have become the rage that everyone had predicted they would be in 2015 but that has not been due to any lack of effort on part of the manufacturers. Most major phone manufacturers today also have a smartwatch or two (or in some cases, even three) in their portfolio. But when it comes to defining the best of the lot, the choice inevitably seems to stop at the Moto 360 (2nd generation) and the apple Watch. Both devices are considered the best on their platforms and combine style with a good deal of substance too. But which of these is the one you should invest into get the best smartwatch experience? We try to find out.
Appearance
Both devices are very stylish looking and are made of stainless steel (or aluminum in the case of the apple Watch Sport), but we think more people will prefer the rounded shape of the Moto 360, which makes it look more like a normal wristwatch. The apple Watch screams “smartwatch” even from a distance. That said, what cannot be denied is that the apple Watch comes with much better straps than the 360. all said and done, we are handing this to the Moto 360 by a slim margin.
Winner: Moto 360
