Capcom ups the collectibles ante in style with Dante’s six-grand coat

Love games? Got plenty of money? Perhaps slightly more than you’ve got sense? ’Tis the season to get silly, then, as ahead of some key Xbox titles being released, game companies have gone crazy for high-value collectibles. Capcom has set a real benchmark with the announcement of a six-grand-plus Devil May Cry 5 collector’s edition featuring hero Dante’s big old red leather coat. It’s actually one of three fashion-themed Ultra Limited Editions, with the Japanese game giant including three iconic coats as worn by Dante, Nero and V, in their different editions.

The edition containing Dante’s coat costs 900,000 yen (around £6,200), Nero’s edition will set you back 750,000 yen (around £5,000), while V’s edition costs a mere 600,000 yen (£4,200).
