Mukhâ - The Intimacy, an exhibition by celebrated artist Hesham Malik was hosted by the Carpe Diem Art Gallery, Majorda, with the aim of raising funds for Sethu Centre for Child Development.
MUKHÂ - The Intimacy by Hesham Malik was inaugurated on 7th January at the Carpe Diem Art Gallery amid much anticipation and an enthusiastic group of art lovers whose presence was testimony to their love for art and support of the charitable cause.
When an artist as acclaimed as Hesham Malik, comes together with creative minds at an art gallery with a soul, to support a cause towards the betterment of society, there is nothing that can stop good from happening. As part of the ongoing exhibition, 20 of Hesham Malik’s paintings are on display at Carpe Diem. Hesham has selected one of these paintings, titled the ‘8 Griffons’, to be auctioned at the exhibition, the proceeds of which were given to the Sethu Centre for Child Development.
About the artist:
For those familiar with the world of art and also those not so familiar with it, Hesham Malik needs no introduction. The internationally celebrated artist holds the record for the most expensive painting sold by an Indian artist. A global citizen in true spirit, Hesham Malik, was born in Bahrain and has lived in India, Dubai, Canada and Czech Republic, among other places.
