And it’s all thanks to Chat!
Flicking through my fave mag, one story immediately caught my eye.
My todger’s bionic! screamed the headline. How could I ignore it?
It was this February and, intrigued, I read all about Lee Carter, 49.
He’d been born a woman, Lisa, and had struggled for 40 years in the wrong body before finally completing his gender-reassignment surgery in 2012.
And, thanks to medical advancements, he even had a real working penis. Silicone implants were used for testicles and an inflatable pump system was inserted.
It meant that Lee could have erections at the squeeze of a button!
Only, five years on from the surgery, he still hadn’t lost his male virginity.
I want to fall in love first, he said in the story.
How romantic, I thought, reading on.
There was something about Lee – I wanted to know more about him.
So I ordered his book Living With Lisa, all about his experiences growing up.
But before it arrived through the post, I plucked up the courage to send him a Facebook message a few days later.
I hope you don’t mind me messaging you…
I couldn’t believe it when I got a reply straightaway!
No, it’s cool, he wrote.
Before long, we were chatting about life, love...
We spent hours messaging, and afterwards, I knew I liked him.
A lot.
So I was so happy the next day when Lee messaged again.
Morning! How you doing? he asked.
My stomach did somersaults.
